Souldrafts provides a private journaling and productivity platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information under regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum necessary data to provide our services:

  • Email address – Required for account creation and login

  • Username or name – Optional, for personalization

  • User-generated content – Notes, photos, vision boards, and diary entries (fully private)

  • Payment information – Processed via Stripe (we do not store this data)

  • Anonymous analytics via Adalo:

    • Total signups

    • User activity frequency

    • Most visited screens

    • General region (e.g., country or city)

We do not collect GPS data, contacts, or personal communications.

3. User Content and Ownership

Any content you upload — including diary entries, photos, notes, and personal logs — remains your exclusive property. We do not claim ownership of your data.

All content is private by default. Only you can access your personal content unless you explicitly choose to share it. We do not access, view, or share your content unless required by law or for technical support (at your request).

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

  • Provide and maintain secure app access

  • Improve features and fix bugs

  • Analyze anonymous usage trends to improve UX

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Legal Compliance

Under GDPR (EU/EEA):

You may:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data

  • Request a copy of your data

  • Object to or restrict processing

  • File a complaint with a data protection authority

Under CCPA/CPRA (California):

You have the right to:

  • Know what data we collect

  • Request deletion of your personal data

  • Request to opt out of sale (we do not sell your data)

  • Limit use of sensitive data (we don’t collect any)

Under CalOPPA:

We provide a clear Privacy Policy and honor Do Not Track browser signals where possible.

6. Data Security

We use secure, modern infrastructure (via Adalo) and take reasonable technical measures to protect your content. Your diary is password-protected, and sensitive information is encrypted where necessary.

All user data transmitted through SoulDrafts is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

7. Children's Privacy

Souldrafts is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent.

8. Intellectual Property – Souldrafts’ Ownership

The Souldrafts brand, logo, design, app features, and all associated intellectual property are the exclusive property of Souldrafts. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of these materials without written permission.

This does not affect your ownership of the personal content you upload — which remains yours.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date. We encourage users to review it periodically.

10. Cookies
SoulDrafts uses cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience, analyze usage, and support essential app functions. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.

12. Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your SoulDrafts account and all associated data at any time.

To delete your account directly within the app:

  • Open the SoulDrafts app.

  • Choose Delete Account in the top navigation menu.

  • Select Delete Account and confirm your choice.

Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.

If you encounter any issues, you may also email info@souldraftsapp.com with the subject "Delete My Account" to request deletion.

Important: If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through your App Store or Google Play account.
