SoulDrafts provides a private journaling and productivity application designed to help users reflect, plan, and create. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information.

By using SoulDrafts, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum necessary data to provide and improve our Service.

1.1 Account Information

  • Email address (required for login and account security)

  • Password (encrypted; we cannot view it)

  • Optional username or display name

1.2 User-Generated Content

Includes any content you create inside the app:

  • Notes and journal entries

  • Photos you upload

  • Vision boards

  • Habits, routines, logs

  • Any other personal content

All content is private by default.
Only you can access your content unless you choose to share it.

1.3 Payment Information (In-App Purchases)

If you subscribe to SoulDrafts Premium through the App Store or Google Play:

  • All payments are processed directly by Apple or Google

  • We do not receive or store card details

  • Apple or Google may collect billing address, payment method, and transaction identifiers

  • We receive only anonymous confirmation of a successful purchase to activate your Premium access

1.4 Analytics Data

Through Adalo, we collect anonymous analytics such as:

  • Total number of signups

  • Activity frequency (e.g., daily, weekly)

  • Most visited screens

  • General region (country/city level only)

We do not collect:

  • GPS location

  • Contacts

  • Camera roll

  • Device ID

  • Sensitive identifiers

  • Personal communications

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to:

  • Provide secure access to the app

  • Store your personal content and sync it across devices

  • Improve app functionality

  • Monitor anonymous usage trends

  • Communicate with you for support or account issues

  • Activate and validate in-app purchases (Apple/Google)

  • Maintain the safety and quality of our Service

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers.

3. User Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of everything you create in SoulDrafts.
We do not claim rights to your notes, diaries, photos, or creative content.

We only store and process your content to:

  • Provide app functionality

  • Sync your data

  • Ensure backups

  • Provide support at your request

We will never access or modify your content unless:

  • You explicitly request help

  • Required by law

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your data under:

  • Contractual necessity – to provide the Service

  • Legitimate interest – improving app experience and security

  • Consent – for optional communication or analytics where required

5. Data Retention

We store your data as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account:

  • All personal content and entries are permanently deleted

  • This action cannot be undone

Apple or Google may retain minimal payment data as required by law.

We use modern security practices, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)

  • Secure hosting infrastructure via Adalo

  • Encrypted password storage

  • Internal access limitations

While no system is 100% risk-free, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Third-Party Services & Technical Infrastructure

SoulDrafts relies on trusted third-party platforms to provide core functionality, security, and subscription management.

App Development & Frontend

SoulDrafts is built using FlutterFlow, enabling native applications for iOS and Android with a responsive mobile-first design.

Backend & Data Storage

Our backend infrastructure is powered by Firebase, which provides secure and scalable cloud services including:

  • Firestore – primary database for storing user data

  • Firebase Authentication – secure user login and account management

  • Firebase Storage – storage of user-generated content (if used)

  • Cloud Functions – server-side logic and automation (if implemented)

Authentication

Users may access SoulDrafts using secure authentication methods, including:

  • Email and password login

  • Sign in with Apple

  • Sign in with Google

  • Password reset functionality

Payments & Subscriptions

Subscription management and billing are handled through trusted payment providers:

  • RevenueCat – subscription management platform

  • Apple In-App Purchases for iOS devices

  • Google Play Billing for Android devices

Data Protection & Security

We take the protection of your data seriously. SoulDrafts uses multiple security measures including:

  • Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS

  • Firebase security rules to control data access

  • GDPR-compliant data handling practices

  • The ability for users to request deletion of their personal data

All third-party providers process data only as required to deliver SoulDrafts services and operate under applicable data protection agreements.

Your data may be processed in countries outside the EU/EEA.

SoulDrafts is not intended for children under 13.

11. Intellectual Property

All SoulDrafts intellectual property — brand, logo, app design, templates, and features — is the exclusive property of SoulDrafts.
This does not affect your ownership of the personal content you upload.

12. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

SoulDrafts uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential app functions

  • Improving app performance

  • Anonymous analytics

Disabling cookies may affect certain features.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
Changes will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

14. Account Deletion

You may delete your account anytime directly within the app:

  1. Open SoulDrafts

  2. Navigate to “Delete Account”

  3. Confirm your choice

This permanently removes all personal data and content.

Premium subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
